Collingham Parish Council
- Installing a new lighting control system for Collingham's Christmas lights at Collingham Memorial Hall
- Fitting suitable lighting down the Ginnel after input from the local residents regarding light levels
St Joseph's Catholic Church, Wetherby
- Installation of new energy efficient LED lighting throughout the original 1800's Church (now used as a hall/community space), Presbytery and the later architect designed Church. We were able to reduce running cost for the lighting by over 66% whilst also drastically improving the overall design and amenity, giving parishioners improved confidence to further donate to improving the Church's buildings.

Julian installed spotlights throughout my house, exterior lighting and replaced old sockets etc. He checked with me regularly, advising of options at every stage and made sure I was fully aware of what each aspect of the work entailed. He worked hard and was very respectful of my house, taking care to tidy up and keep things as clean as possible - given some jobs were necessarily dusty.

We highly recommend Julian, after having a new smart meter fitted it seemingly was tripping out my electricity. We called Julian Varley who promptly came and had a look and suggested what the problem could be. He then came to fix it and was very polite, courteous and above all professional. Julian is an excellent Electrician in my opinion, exceptionally reasonable pricing and worked extremely hard, tidied after the work and is very neat with his work. We got Julian in to wire 32 Amp power for hot tub and outdoor socket for Pergola, he also managed to fit 5 x large ceiling lights the same day. Recommend without hesitation - also a nice guy to have around doing work who quietly gets on with stuff.

We had an electrical issue at a house that we rent out, resulting in the tenant having no power… a quick call to Julian, and he immediately contacted the tenant direct, diagnosed the issue remotely, and guided the tenant through what to do to restore the power. Absolutely amazing service!

Top quality service from start to finish - I cannot recommend Julian highly enough. I needed a range of electrical work doing for the refurbishment of my new flat and Julian was happy to spend the time talking through all the details and offering great advice before any work began. He was extremely flexible, especially for all the second fix work where the completion of kitchen fitting and plumbing had to change several times, and was always very tidy and efficient. A dependable professional and a genuinely nice person, I would definitely use Julian again in the future.

Julian installed a TV power socket, routing power and ethernet cables behind drywall as well as fitting additional sockets and three ceiling lamps. Did a fantastic job, no mess and plasterboard refitted perfectly. Thoroughly recommended.

Julian was great. He responded quickly to my need for someone to do an Electrical condition report and arrived the next day. He arrived on time and was meticulous in his work, he was also incredibly lovely to chat to and offered me lots of helpful advice.
